After three years, we were finally able to put on our backpacks and go to the place we longed for-Yunnan.

I. Lijiang

    Departure is always the most meaningful thing, early in the morning of 1st August, we boarded the flight to Lijiang. As soon as we got off the plane, we felt a slight coolness. Compared to the 35 degree heat of Wuxi, the 20 degree temperature here is really delightful. Lijiang Old Town is a must visit, the uneven stone road, slowly flowing streams, a wide range of shops, are a unique scenery. Compared to the bustling Lijiang Old Town, we prefer the quieter Shuhe Old Town. Or find a coffee shop, order a cup of coffee, blowing the evening breeze, listening to the owner of the couple singing ballads ... or find a bar, drinking colourful cocktails, listening to the singer sing a song of the glory days ... or in the streets aimlessly walk around, see the small bridges and flowing water, winding paths...

    Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, a Naxi sacred mountain that gives people infinite reverie. Due to the limitation of flow, the guide only got the 7:30am ropeway. Early in the morning and rain, ropeway window outside a foggy, almost can not see the scenery. The ropeway went up to 4506 above sea level. The children were a bit high, parents with children rushed to give their children oxygen tanks, and hurried down the mountain. It has been raining heavily on the snowy mountain, most of the others still challenged the 4680 punch point, although the clothes and shoes are soaked, but can feel the different scenery on the snowy mountain at an altitude of 4680, everything is worth it.

    The "Impression of Lijiang" show, which I'm told was directed by Zhang Yimou, is a magnificent spectacle. This is the highest altitude physical theatre in the world, with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as the backdrop, unique, worth seeing.

Blue Moon Valley under the snowy mountains, fortunately the sky suddenly cleared up, clear river water in the blue sky and white moon reflection, blue and moving. There is no need for photographic skills, just take a picture of it, it's a blockbuster.

2.Shangri-La

    hangri-La, translated as "the sun and moon in your heart", is the closest place to heaven.

     The first stop is the so-called deepest canyon in China: Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is adjacent to the Haba Snow Mountain, the Jade Dragon 13 peaks in the distance, under the feet of the rushing Jinsha River, all the way to the jungle, canyon, tea and horse road, waterfalls, angry waves ......

The second stop was Pudacuo National Park, where we took on the challenge of hiking 3.5 kilometres with more than 20 people, with squirrels, yaks and other animals in the forest. Although there were a lot of tourists, looking at the green in the distance and breathing the sober air, we felt healed and peaceful inside.

The third stop Songtsamling Monastery, known as the small Potala Palace, in Tibetan is the meaning of "home in the heart", where you can feel a kind of purity, peace and quiet. Everywhere is the Tibetan red Tibetan clothes, furry hats, hand cranked the transmitting pipe, climbed the Songtsamling Monastery's ladder...

3.Dali

    Go to the windy place-Dali. The climate here is pleasant and so comfortable at any time. As it is the summer peak season, Dali Old Town is crowded with tourists braiding their characteristic beautiful colourful pigtails and strolling through various handicraft shops, silverware and jade shops, and tea shops, which are bustling with activity.

    "The scenery of Dali is in Cang'er, and the scenery of Cang'er is in Shuanglang". We went to the Erhai Sea to ride bicycles, to Nanzhao style island to experience a different style of Yunnan. Looking at the blue ripples of the lake, and white single unknown birds, flying to the centre of the lake, until the white dots disappeared. I wish time could slow down and such moments could last a little longer ......

    "The winds of Xiaguan, the flowers of Shangguan, the snow of Cangshan Mountain and the moon of Erhai", the winds, flowers, snow and moon, the scenery of Dali, as the name suggests, is breathtakingly beautiful.

Time is like a song, what you have seen is scenery, what you have experienced is beautiful. In the mountains and rivers and streams, among the lofty mountains and peaks, feeling the charming scenery of nature, unique ethnic culture, a different way of life, this is the meaning of travelling.
